Top 10 Tuesday – Holiday/Seasonal Freebie

This week’s Top Ten Tuesday (hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl)  prompt is Holiday/Seasonal Freebie. So this is a free one to do with what we wish, so I’m going to include books and films on this. So my favourite books/films to read/watch at Christmas!

  1. Santa Clause Trilogy
Santa Clause Trilogy (Box Set) [DVD]

This is my number one films to rewatch at Christmas time it’s just so nostalgic for me and I love it, I have watched this since I was a child and watch it every year and will continue to until I am old and wrinkly because it’s just one of my favourites!

2. Jingle Wars by R. Holmes and Veronica Eden

So I read an ARC of this and fell in love with it so I think if you’re looking for a perfect Christmas read this is it. The books has a great amount of sexy scenes, with playful and humour banter and the characters you fall in love with immediately and I loved it. This is probably going to be a reread every year.

3. Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer

Poster of the movie Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer.jpg

This is my favourite film when I was younger although I can’t find it anywhere on DVD, I had it on video when I was a kid but as per usual videos are easily wrecked. So now every year I watch it on YouTube and it’s honestly such a great film and one of my favourites.

4. Holidate

Holidate (2020) - IMDb

So this was the last film I watched recently about Christmas and this was so cute I really enjoyed it! I mean it was your usual Christmas romcom but it was really cute and I did cry too. But it made me smile and I really enjoyed watching it!

5. The Princess Switched – Switched Again

The Princess Switch: Switched Again - Wikipedia

So I watched the first Princess switched last year and really loved it. So I think the next film I want to watch is this one! I actually can’t wait because I’ve heard that the royals from A Christmas Prince appear and I cannot wait for that! So this is what I will be watching next!

6. Home Alone

Home Alone Movie Review

So it wouldn’t be Christmas without a rewatch of this film just something about the Home alone films that make it Christmas. Although as I get older I now wonder how on earth they managed their electric bill because damn all those lights!

7. Die Hard

Die Hard – Rio Theatre

So this gets everyone into an argument and I love doing it because I am in the boat where I agree this is a Christmas film and let me tell you I do think it is a Christmas film and I do watch it every Christmas! (Also please comment if you agree or disagree) I’m curious!

8. The Christmasaurus by Tom Fletcher

The Christmasaurus: Amazon.co.uk: Fletcher, Tom, Devries, Shane: 9780141373324: Books

I got this book like a Christmas or two ago from a friend and I also have the musical CD with it and still I haven’t managed to get round to reading it yet! So I think I will make it a priority to read it this Christmas!

9. Fairytale of New York – The Pogues

So I figured for the last two I was going to do some of my favourite Christmas song I love this Christmas song it’s one of my favourites!

10 One More Sleep by Leona Lewis

This is a more newer Christmas songs but I love Leona Lewis and this is one catchy tune!

I hope you all enjoyed this top 10 Tuesday! 🙂

  1. Vampire Academy Series by Richelle Mead

2. Shadowhunter Chronicles by Cassandra Clare

I love these books and even despite some of the questionable things it will be a favourite of mine and I will definitely be rereading them because I just love this world so much and it’s just special to me.

3. Reliving Fate by Natasha Preston

Reliving Fate: Amazon.co.uk: Preston, Natasha: 9781547224029: Books

When I first read this book it destroyed me, it was my top book of 2017 I believe. I haven’t reread it since then because destroyed me. I feel the need to be re destroyed so this is on my list to reread.

4. The Last Riders, Biker Bitches, Porter Brother’s Trilogy, Predator’s MC, VIP Room Trilogy, and Road To Salvation Trilogy – Jamie Begley.

I’m afraid you won’t be getting a picture for these there is over I believe 29 almost 30 books in this and all the books are interconnected and in the same world and I love that. I love this series and I’ve been hooked on it ever since I read it and I’m in love. So I really want to reread these series again.

5. Fallen Lords MC by Winter Travers

This is another series I fell madly in love with and it’s something about it that I just want to relive and reread again so I plan to!

6. Harry Potter

I did try and reread this series this year but I only got to book 4 and never continued so I need to finish rereading this series because I haven’t read the last two books nearly enough times compared to the first 5. I need to change that.

7. The Naturals by Jennifer Lynn Barnes

The Naturals (book series) - Wikipedia

I read this series a few years ago now and I just want to reread them, I really did like them and they reminded me so much of Criminal Minds.

8. A Court of Thorns and Roses series by Sarah J Maas

A Court of Thorns and Roses - Wikipedia

So I would really love to reread this series and actually get around to reading A Court of Frost and Starlight because I forgot to read that. So this will be on my list. Still kinda annoyed they changed covers because the new ones just aren’t that good….

9. Throne of Glass Series by Sarah J Maas

Throne of Glass UK Covers | Throne of glass books, Throne of glass, Throne of glass series

So I finished this series earlier this year but I really want to reread it again especially the last three books because this year was the first time I read them and I know I didn’t soak up everything that was in them so this is definitely on my list.

10. Billy & Me series by Giovanna Fletcher

Popular Books To Binge-read Your Way Through June | Teenage Magazine

Giovanna is one of my favourite authors, if you’re in the UK, you’re probably watching the jungle in which she is and watching her just made me want to reread her books again and I think it’s only fitting I go back and read the very first book I ever read from her.

So that was my Top 10 Tuesday. I have to wonder did I kind of cheat because there’s more than 10 books… I mean there’s over 29 I know that for definite but oh well. So these are the books I plan to reread in 2020 and I am very excited to get to them.
