Mayhem's King – Lindsay Cross

45275784. sy475
They call him the quiet one.
But they don’t know him.
They only know him as the King of mayhem. The elite of the elite. The man his team relied on to save the unsaveable. Kingston Kenrich could save anyone…except those who he’d loved most. King thought he’d survived the worst, until his own teammate’s betrayal left him blind in one eye. Before, he lived for pain, now he lives for revenge.
Her compassion knew no bounds.
From the moment Laura Dawson’s daredevil brother, John, signed up for the Special Forces, she’d known one day she’d get the call that he’d been killed in action. But she’d never expected to be the one raising his young daughter. After a year as a stand in mother, she got an even bigger shock – John was alive. But he wasn’t the same.
When his old teammate, King, appeared in her house looking for John, Laura kept quiet. But something about the tall, dark stranger tugged at her soul.
King takes one look at Laura and feels his heart beat again. How could his betrayer’s sister evoke anything other than hate?
Fate throws them together into a turbulent world of adventure and pain. Laura fights to remain loyal to her brother while falling for the man who wants to see him dead. King is determined to make her see the twisted man her brother has become, all the while losing his heart to her more each day.
Will Laura and King choose love or loyalty? Or will fate take the decision out of their hands?
This incredibly emotional romance will take you through the highs and lows of new love, the treachery of betrayal and the uncertainty of danger in a heart pounding journey of discovery.

So if you followed my blog you will know I went down a whole of Lindsay Cross and I love her books especially her Men of Mercy series and the Operation Mayhem series. They include: Redemption River (Men of Mercy #1)Resurrection River (Men of Mercy #2)Reckless River (Men Of Mercy #3)Ravaged River (Men of Mercy #4)Rebellious River (Men of Mercy #5)Ravished River (Men of Mercy #6)Revenge River (Men Of Mercy #7)Mercy and Mayhem (Men of Mercy #8)(Operation Mayhem 0.5)Mayhem’s Warrior (Operation Mayhem #1)Mayhem’s Desire (Operation Mayhem #2) and Mayhem’s Hero (Operation Mayhem #3). So now I have to be waiting patiently for the new books to come out…

I’d like to thank Lindsay for sending me an e-arc of this book it is very much appreciated. I had high hopes for this book and of course it did not let me down!

Oh my god poor King loosing his wife and daughter, that was heartbreaking! It hits you as soon as you open this book, you’re hit with King loosing his family and it was honestly heartbreaking. Like it hits you in the feels immediately. Then obviously after Operation Mayhem it changed him a lot into somebody who is untrusting and only has one thing on his mind and that is revenge after Dawson shot him in the eye.

I really like Laura, stubborn and yet smart (ish) in a way, after King turned up she kind of was more switched onto the fact that Dawson wasn’t telling the whole truth to her. I loved how caring and protective she was of Faith and that she was willing to look after her like she was her own child.

Faith is the cutest little human ever. I loved her, I also loved how the guys take both of them in and are willing to help them no matter what. Also the fact she has a hearing aid I also think was very interesting and I liked how that was represented and it was very interesting.

I love the connection between King and Laura, the way it just built between them before it became a sexual attraction between them. Especially as he fills her in on what happened with Dawson who is her brother and Operation Mayhem as a whole. I also think it was very interesting that she managed to be able to convince King to let her revenge go and not kill him but instead try to help him and I thought that was very interesting.

King and Faith had a very interesting relationship and it was so cute. I really don’t know what it is about characters and kids that aren’t theirs that the relationship between them just becomes more special and more cute especially as you see the bond between them create and I just think that’s precious and sweet. So all three of them together is also the cutest thing ever.

Holy shit what a ride. I can’t believe they’ve managed to capture Dawson and even that instead of killing him are willing to help him and protect him. I guess deep down for them he’s still part of their team and they are starting to live normal lives so he should too. I just think it was interesting ending and one I totally wasn’t expecting.

Can’t wait for the next book! These books keep me hooked and Lindsay put a post up the other day saying we are expecting the next one out in 2020 so I have a bit to wait but it will be worth it!

Mayhem's Hero – Lindsay Cross

He needs someone to tell him he’s worth saving.

Diggs never mattered— not in his family. Project Mayhem left him with nothing but questions about who he is and confirmation that he can’t contribute to the team. He’s tired of being overshadowed by his brothers; Diggs needs something more… someone more.

She’s about to fall for the man who could hurt her more than anyone.

When Audra receives a cryptic message from her military brother that was filmed the day before he was killed in action, she knows he was involved in a secret operation gone wrong. His K-9 bomb sniffing dog, Trigger, has been left in their abusive father’s care. Audra races against time to save Trigger, and claim the one piece of her brother she has left.

A chance meeting. Diggs helps Audra save Trigger… but he’s the one who needs her the most.

Audra hates the military for taking her brother away, so loving Diggs isn’t an option. She can’t stand to get hurt again, yet Diggs is the only person who can help her piece together what happened to her brother. As they investigate the mystery, the chemistry between them grows even more intense until it erupts into steamy situations and longing professions of romance.

Diggs is Audra’s hero. But can she be his?

If you’d like to read my other reviews for her books click on the title they are linked here: Redemption River (Men of Mercy #1)Resurrection River (Men of Mercy #2)Reckless River (Men Of Mercy #3)Ravaged River (Men of Mercy #4)Rebellious River (Men of Mercy #5)Ravished River (Men of Mercy #6)Revenge River (Men Of Mercy #7)Mercy and Mayhem (Men of Mercy #8)(Operation Mayhem 0.5)Mayhem’s Warrior (Operation Mayhem #1), and Mayhem’s Desire (Operation Mayhem #2) I loved all of the books and they got me really hooked. I think this is the fastest I have ever binge read a series and now two series. I am going to be so sad when I run out of her books to read. Okay it kind of happened I ran out of her books to read but it’s okay another one is coming out in January so I can wait until then…

I loved this series so much and I was so interested to read Diggs’ story and it was a very interesting one. I felt so bad for him and the guilt he carried around over the participation in Project Mayhem when it came to the other members of his team he felt immense guilt and gosh it hit me so much in the feels. I loved how he was willing to risk everything to protect the service dog Trigger from being attacked. I really loved that we saw a more human side of them especially because they are super soldiers.

Audra bless her I felt so bad for her loosing her brother and then the fear of loosing her brother’s service dog to her abusive father. Then fearing the military, she was so untrusting but I could totally see why throughout this novel. I loved the connection she had with the dog.

Audra and Diggs building their relationship it was so cute and she knew she needed him to save the dog. Although their connection was good and I liked how their relationship builds over Trigger it was sweet.

Audra did make some stupid decisions though but I don’t want to say what because of spoilers! I totally guessed that somebody was alive when they were meant to be dead, I thought it from the moment I read the first book in the project Mayhem series just because it happened in the Men of Mercy series! So I kind of guessed he wasn’t going to be dead and really alive. Also, I can’t tell you the character because it’ll spoil.

The ending was really cute. I really enjoyed this series and I can’t wait for the next instalment. I am so glad I found this author and her stories because I am totally in love with them.

Mayhem's Desire – Lindsay Cross

His traumatic past has left him dark… and longing for love.

Hicks thinks good and evil comes in black and white. No blurred lines, no grey areas. After being subjected to a horrific experiment that’s left him damaged as a super soldier, Hicks seeks comfort from his torment in reliability. He’s got clear rules on morality and isn’t willing to break them.

Until her.

Whitney is a seductress. Secretly working for a Senator as a mistress, she puts on leather outfits and a mask of sensuality to bend men to her will— though the money she makes doing so isn’t to save her, but others. Whitney believes she’s past saving, and that love is a silly dream.

Then he enters her life.

Hicks is sickened by what he thinks Whitney is — and undeniably attracted to her. After Whitney’s life is threatened in a violent murder attempt, Hicks calls in his team. Whitney is the target of a government operation, and unless Hicks can discover who’s behind it, Whitney’s life is forfeit.

But the mission isn’t the only thing on Hicks’ mind.

Whitney and Hicks can’t keep their hands off each other… but they can’t stand each other, either. Whitney isn’t the innocent woman Hicks thought, and Hicks isn’t the strong hero Whitney’s looking for. But together, the heat of their romance and the passion of their love cannot be stopped.

Can Hicks rescue Whitney from a tragic end? Or will the lovers lose everything against incredible odds?

So you know I went down a deep hole, and that hole continues. So from Lindsay Cross, I have read a lot of books and if you want to read my reviews click the titles. Redemption River (Men of Mercy #1)Resurrection River (Men of Mercy #2)Reckless River (Men Of Mercy #3)Ravaged River (Men of Mercy #4)Rebellious River (Men of Mercy #5)Ravished River (Men of Mercy #6)Revenge River (Men Of Mercy #7)Mercy and Mayhem (Men of Mercy #8)(Operation Mayhem 0.5) and then finally Mayhem’s Warrior (Operation Mayhem #1)

So this is technically the second book in the Operation Mayhem series and I loved it. This one focuses on Hicks who is also part of the Operation Mayhem team.

Whitney was very smart, I felt so bad for her when she found out somebody was trying to ruin her life, well more so get her killed. She was trying to make the world better and then that happens getting in the middle of it. She was smart, sassy and I loved her.

Hicks was strong headed and was very strong-willed. I loved Hicks the way he felt so protective Whitney and yet at times really disliked her. Whitney and Hicks were definitely an interesting couple, you could tell their attraction the moment they met. I loved how they both fought the attraction between each other.

The tension in the overarching plot that goes through this series, with every book the tension is growing and it’s getting hella tense.

I think my thing was as much as I loved Hicks and Whitney I needed more of them, actually I think that’s the case with all of Lindsay’s characters I tend to want more like they could be doing anything and I could be happy.

It was interesting learning a little bit more about doctor Melissa too and her sister. I loved seeing the other characters and it was nice to see them bonding as a group. And being normal especially as they are slowly re-entering the normal world.

I loved this, the story characters. Everything about it.

Mayhem's Warrior – Lindsay Cross

Captain T.K. Reaper only cares about his men; until he ends up falling for the one woman who can rescue his team.

Reaper has lived his entire life without love. Living on the edge with no fear, Reaper and his team volunteered for Project Mayhem — a top-secret experiment that uses a serum to enhance physical abilities in order to fight terrorism. Reaper believed the experiment would help save lives, but the serum only ends up taking them. Forced to go on the run, Reaper escapes the lab with his men, only to realize that they need the serum to survive. He has only one choice; return to the lab, and steal the source of the serum.

Caroline Cotter used to be a spoiled Senator’s daughter; now, she’s a victim. Kidnapped and held against her will to make the serum used for Project Mayhem, Caroline gives up hope of ever being free again… until Reaper enters, and frees her from her dark prison.

Yet the jungle outside is full of terrors, and government officials are hot on their tail. Reaper plans to keep the relationship between him and Caroline platonic, but undeniable attraction and explosive desire, coupled with Caroline’s adoration that he saved her from certain death, make it hard to resist the love story blossoming between them.

What will Reaper choose? His romance with Caroline, or the sacred vow he’s made to the brothers willing to die by his side?

So we all know I went down a deep hole of reading Lindsay Cross’ Men of Mercy series and when I finished all them, so I’ve read Redemption River (Men of Mercy #1)Resurrection River (Men of Mercy #2)Reckless River (Men Of Mercy #3)Ravaged River (Men of Mercy #4)Rebellious River (Men of Mercy #5)Ravished River (Men of Mercy #6)Revenge River (Men Of Mercy #7), and Mercy and Mayhem (Men of Mercy #8)(Operation Mayhem 0.5). So as you can see I went down a deep deep hole of reading her books so then I moved onto this series Operation Mayhem and I was excited to dive into this one.

I loved Caroline, I was glad when I learned she had her own story especially when it didn’t exactly resolve in Mercy and Mayhem but set up for its own series which begins with this book. I really felt for her and everything that she had been through yet she was willing to put the last little bit of trust in Reaper which I felt they were adorably cute together.

Reaper, I loved his character, he was willing to risk everything to try and get this serum which also included rescuing Caroline. I loved how their connection built over time. I also loved that when he did finally develop and listen to the feelings he had for her, he was willing to risk the life of his team to make sure she was safe. Also that she was never used a test subject again.

I loved the action in this book, I also loved the connection that these two characters had. I fell in love with their relationship.

Like the other books Lindsay Cross writes there is an overall arc for the books and I loved it, I cannot wait to read the rest of the books and found out about the serum and whether they can survive or not. The book has an amazing plot. I loved it.

This story was extremely intense and it worked really well. I fell in love with the story and characters and I really can’t wait to see what happens with this series. Lindsay Cross is amazing and I have no idea what I’m going to do when I run out of books of hers because I am addicted.

Mercy and Mayhem – Lindsay Cross

He wanted nothing but revenge…until her.
Mack Grey wants one thing in his life: vengeance for the ex-CIA operative who betrayed his team, Jack Mankel. And he’s finally got the traitor within grasp, all he has to do is catch a hop across the Congo and capture his enemy.
He had no idea the depths to which Mankel’s evil could reach.
She never thought she could love again…until him.
All single-mother air force pilot Marley Mitchell has to do is fly a group of special operators across Africa for a HALO jump and then she can be back home with her baby girl. Then the unexpected happens. Her plane crashes and Marley has to rely on an insanely hot commander to get her out of the jungle alive.
Deep in the jungle, Mack gives her his heart and soul. He’s willing to lay down his life to protect hers.
But Marley has a secret.
A secret that could destroy not only their hope for happiness, but Mack’s entire team.
With Mankel closing in and guerilla soldiers on the prowl, their sensual attraction is put to the ultimate test in an action-packed thrill ride of passion so hot it threatens to burn them alive.

So I’ve read the majority of the books in the Men Of Mercy series now if you want to check them out click on the titles. I’ve read Redemption RiverResurrection RiverReckless RiverRavaged RiverRebellious RiverRavished River and Revenge River. Again I loved the Dossier we have at the beginning of this story. This is what we have been leading up to in this series! The ending of Mr J and just as they are closing in an about to rescue Caroline disaster happens and Mr J try to kill them again.

I couldn’t believe how much of an asshole Ramsey was to Marley the little twit. I hope what he got from Mr J was worth it for trying to kill her especially knowing Marley has a daughter. Such a dirty tactic what he did, made me mad.

This book was action packed filled and I loved that this one compared to the others was mostly again throughout the book and I loved the change but it still had the hot romance between Marley and Mack and I loved those scenes. The passion and the connection both of them felt it was lovely!

Marley was stuck between a rock and a hard place, I felt so bad for her when she was being emotionally blackmailed to betray Mack and his team especially as they were threatening her daughter. I did love how she was telling Mack about her daughter and making him kind of face his past and make him deal with it.

It was hard when Mack discovered it all my heart broke for them both. I cried. It was hard. How she thought Mack would never forgive her for what she’s done and then Mack thinking Marley wouldn’t forgive him for how he treated her. It was a bunch of emotions. I also felt so sorry for her that she wouldn’t stay with Mack even though she wanted to especially knowing he was hurt.

I think overall on the Mr J plotline it was a satisfying conclusion, I do know this story is the start of the Operation Mayhem series which of course I am going to read, so it ends Men of Mercy and starts Operation Mayhem. I really enjoyed the Men of Mercy series and it’s sent me on a rollercoaster!

Revenge River – Lindsay Cross

His name is Merc.
He has no past.
No future.
Only a thirst for revenge against the traitor who betrayed his team and his country – Agent Jack Mankel.
When he’s handed a mission to rescue a sitting US senator’s daughter from the traitor’s clutches, Merc jumps at his chance for vengeance, never dreaming the girl he rescued could be his downfall…

She walks in the night.
She is a shadow.
An operative so elite even the president doesn’t know of her existence.
Her whole life, she’s lived to serve, raised in the black-ops team her father, Jack Mankel, created. Then her whole world is turned upside down when she learns the sister she once thought dead is really alive; and to save her, Nightshade will have to take on the hardest mission of her life…

Merc knows he doesn’t deserve her. Nightshade knows she can’t have him. But a connection so powerful neither of them can resist draws them closer, even as a betrayal so deep threatens to destroy their very existence.

So we all know I went down a deep hole of reading these books! I read Redemption RiverResurection RiverReckless RiverRavaged RiverRebellious RiverRavished River. I loved them all and this is the next one in the series! As I say not highly important if you don’t read the other books in the Men of Mercy series but it would be so much better if you did. Again I love the dossier that we get at the beginning of these books so we know everyone who is on the team and what their role is!

Nightshade was a very interesting character, she was raised by who we know as Mr J and is Caroline’s twin sister. We start the book with Nightshade getting her orders to pretend to be her sister. Almost instantly Nightshade and Merc have a connection when he saves her, she was so strong and sassy and oh my god she was almost as good as Merc and the team was! After the bomb was denotated and Merc and Nightshade were taken I loved the fact that she was the one to save him. I also loved the sarcasm we got from her.

Merc oh I wish we learnt more about him but being that he didn’t know we didn’t know, I did love the small snippets of information we did get about them. I also loved how he was so protective over Nightshade and that when he did discover who she was he didn’t try to push her away he just still tried to protect him. I love Merc.

Nightshade is a good actor! Pretending to be Caroline, through this book my one question was who was the parents? Were Mr J the dad or was it the senator? We do get it answered but I’m not going to spoil that but I loved it. The plot wowed me it was so deep and it touches on so many things and you feel so bad for Nightshade and what she had to deal with. I was so sad for her so when she finally had happiness I was hoping she was holding onto it. Thankfully she did.

I loved this story I felt like Nightshade was the perfect person for Merc and it was so good!

As a Special Forces operative, Aaron Spears treated relationships like Tangos. He’d seen the wreckage of his Task Force brothers’ attempts and had no desire to put any woman through the hardship. He had one purpose – serve his country and protect his teammates. Then Celine Latimer walked into his life and turned his world upside down.

Celine Latimer thought she’d hit the jackpot when hunky SF operative Aaron Spears asked her to accompany him to the high-profile wedding of Senator Cotter’s daughter. They’d get to spend two weeks together while Aaron pulled guard duty for Caroline Cotter and Celine intended to use every spare minute, seducing the man she’d had a crush on for over a year.

The time and place proved to be more of a barrier than either of them realized. With his commander watching his every move, Aaron couldn’t afford to show any weakness. That meant ignoring Celine.
Rejected and hurt, Celine packed to leave only to be caught in a kidnapping plot against the Senator. Here she sat, in a hut in the Middle East, waiting on a rescue that may never come.

He’d sworn to protect and he’d failed. Now Aaron lived for one purpose- to rescue the woman he lost before she’s sold into slavery and spend the rest of his life making her see how much he loves her.

***This book was previously published as the short novella Aaron’s Honor in kindle worlds and has now been reverted back to me. I have added over 20,000 new words to lengthen this into a novel and retitled it Ravished River

I’d like to thank Buoni Amici Press for sending me an e-arc of this as well as the author for even bringing this sign up to my attention! So if you haven’t known for the last few weeks I went down a hole of reading Lindsay Cross books and I have fallen madly in love with it! I read Redemption RiverRebellious River and Resurrection RiverReckless River and Ravaged River.

So I feel like with this one it would be more beneficial if you read Rebellious River before jumping into this one because you definitely need more of the context. Although I think you could get the jist of what has happened from this book. Although if you really want to be benefited read the whole series from book 1. You won’t regret, it’s fabulous!

Anyway this story pretty much leaves from where we left Ethan’s, and Aaron and the team are looking for Celene and Caroline. This book hit me in the feels, I had so much emotions running through me when reading this book it was hard to keep up, the guilt that Aaron felt you could practically feel it pouring off the page, and also the guilt that Celine feels about Caroline and her not being back yet. As well as their relationship and the pain they felt. It was a whirlwind of emotions and I should have been prepared but I wasn’t. I was in no way prepared for feeling those emotions when they came.

I loved that we got to see some of the bonding between Caroline and Celene whilst they were kidnapped it was very interesting to see how important they were to each other and keeping each other alive. I really enjoyed those scenes.

This book was so amazing, I loved the plot, I loved that once Aaron had Celene back he wasn’t willing to let her go again. I loved their romance. Actually one of my favourite scenes in this book actually my two favourite is when Celene tells Caroline what happened when she and Aaron had sex. But even better than that was seeing it ourselves written. When the commander caught Celene and Aaron having sex I couldn’t help but laugh it was the best thing in this book and it was fabulous. I couldn’t have imagined it any better and it was my favourite bit in this book.

I do have to say I love Noni! I love that she makes an appearance in this book! Such great, characters, great plot, a great advance on the overarching plot running through the series!

Book Review, Books

Ravaged River – Lindsay Cross

Special forces operative Hoyt Crowe wasn’t just damaged… he was broken. After suffering brutal torture in captivity, his once lively spirit is shattered. Now his greatest adversary isn’t some unknown terrorist in a foreign country, it’s himself.
Hayden James watched Hoyt slide into a private purgatory of post-traumatic stress disorder, taking her heart with him. No longer warm and loving, he is cold. Hardened. A shell of his former self.
When an old enemy threatens Hayden’s life, Hoyt must find the strength to slay his inner demons or lose the woman he loves forever.

So I went down a deep hole of Lindsay Cross (I feel like I start all of these reviews like that lol). So I’ve read Redemption RiverResurrection RiverReckless River and Rebellious River and I loved all them so I knew this one was going to be no different! Again I love the dossier that is at the beginning of this book so you know who is who and you aren’t lost in the world that is the Men of Mercy series! This one picks up just a few months (I think) after Reckless River and we carry on with Hoyt’s story.

This story was darker in terms of I think for the first time we get to see like the real effect of PTSD more so than the other books. Those PTSD feelings were very strong and god they made me feel terrible and so heartbroken and I could feel how Hayden felt when she tried to pull Hoyt out of his PTSD and I honestly think with these stories you know she does her research and that she is one of the people who have family in the military and she interacts with others. I think she so did it justice and it was amazing.

Hoyt I just wanted to give him a hug through this PTSD aside he was in a whole of self-pity (understandable of course) and he was just so far gone that he really struggled with this new version of himself. I loved how regardless of how he felt about himself he was always willing to protect Hayden.

Hayden man I felt bad for her after the shit she went through with Shane and then the stuff she was going through with Hoyt I just wanted to wrap her in bubble wrap and keep her safe. I liked the insight we got in this book about her and Shane and how she felt about it and how Hoyt helped her with those feelings. I loved it. I feel like we saw a different side of Hayden in this which I’m glad.

I loved Merc and Hunter and actually, I just loved them all these characters just make you want to stay in this world and keep coming back I think I’m going to be very sad when I finish reading all of these because what am I going to do?

Hayden is so damn stubborn and I loved that about her, how she wasn’t willing to give up on Hoyt and she knew their feelings for each other would win both of these babies need a big massive hug.

One of my favourite scenes is when Hoyt tells Hayden what he thought of when he was being tortured that even in the darkness she was his light and I loved that.

I also love that Hoyt let Jared back in and they were acting like real brothers again and they made up. (Wow I wonder how many times I said loved in these reviews).

The action scenes were written fabulously! I loved this story so much and it hit me more than the others did in terms of feelings I was sobbing all the way through this book it was amazing.

Reckless River – Lindsay Cross

They say you can’t go home again. Jared Crowe never wanted to.

Only this time, Jared isn’t a scared little boy. He’s a full-grown Special Forces operative bent on revenge.
As a little girl, Sparrow Pickney risked her life to free two abused boys. As a grown woman Sparrow needs to earn a place in her adopted family’s business or be forced into a life of degradation. The chance to prove her family loyalty comes when she catches Jared spying on the compound and captures him.
When Jared sees his captor, he realizes she’s the girl of his dreams and vows to rescue her from a life of poverty. What Jared doesn’t know is Sparrow may not be the savior he remembers…but the one responsible for abducting and torturing his brother.
Jared is determined to find the truth. But that truth may be more than his heart can take.

So I went down a deep deep hole of reading Lindsay Cross’ books and I love it so much! So I’ve read Redemption RiverResurrection River, and Rebellious River and I loved them so much and I have high expectations for this!

Also, I love the fact we get a dossier of who is who at the start of the book, it always helps and I’ll never stop loving that!

I think it’s important to say that almost immediately this book was darker than the others and I liked the change and Lindsay Cross wrote it perfectly she manages to find a balance between the light and the dark and she did it so well! I think there is one thing I can say for definite and that is all of Lindsay’s books that I’ve read send me in a spin emotionally and she can apparently get me crying within a few chapters which not many authors can do that to me!

Jared I loved his character I felt bad for him so many times his conflicting feelings over Sparrow about Hoyt. He was such a great character and seeing him going all badass was so hot. I also loved how he had a caring side especially when Sparrow got hurt after trying to escape.

Sparrow oh I felt so bad for Sparrow after finally deciding to leave the mountains with Jared shit happens and he thinks she hurt Hoyt. She had such a shit time and was trying to survive in a world she didn’t even want to be in.

I loved the moments that Jared and Sparrow were together it was so cute and I loved that they built their relationship and they had some cute moments and he was so conflicted about liking her at one point. I loved that they essentially got their happy ending. It was interesting watching how they were being that not only was Jared a strong Alpha Male like the other females in this serious Sparrow was badass and strong and she had much more to prove.

I loved the plot I did not see where this story was going at all and my heart broke for Hoyt. One thing I didn’t see coming was Hoyt and Hayden but I think I totally ship it. So I am very excited for the next one!
