A Snowflake Christmas – Can a blooming love that becomes forbidden survive fears and rumors? It’s supposed to be the most wonderful time of the year, but … Dr. Alan Garcia uproots his practice in Miami to Snowflake, Montana, hoping to escape career-ending false-accusations and find a fresh start in the small mountain town. Alan isn’t looking for love, but when Rachel Welch brings her nephew in for an office visit, her neighborly generosity and family-first philosophy moves his heart like no woman he’s previously known.Rachel Welch, a native of Snowflake, has suffered from PTSD ever since the car accident that seriously injured her parents. Dr. Garcia is her best hope to find relief from panic attacks, but one look into his dark eyes and Rachel knows that a doctor-patient dynamic is far from the relationship she wants. With Christmas right around the corner, maybe Rachel and Alan’s snowballing romance will survive Alan’s pride, Rachel’s fears, and Snowflake’s rumors. That is – if spending time together outside of the office doesn’t get them both fired first.

I’d like to thank Enticing Journey Book promotions for sending me an e-arc of this book it is very much appreciated. So after reading Jingle Wars I was ready for another Christmas romance and luckily for me this was the next arc I had due. So I dived straight into it.

Rachel has lived in snowflake majority of her life other than to go to nursery school, she tries to stare clear of men because romance just hasn’t gone right for her. Especially after the last doctor left because she wouldn’t date him. She decided to steer clear and just focus on other things.

Alan has issues of his own, his practice ruined he relocates to Snowflake for a 90 day trial period at a new job. We see him go through a lot during this book but I love how we’re told the information.

Pretty soon Rachel and Alan begin to work together there’s just one problem. There’s no dating or immediate dismissal for one of both of them. Which kinda doesn’t make sense because they were set up on a date??

So the setting of this book was really cute snowflake sounds like the perfect little town to be in. I really liked it and I’d want to live myself. I felt the side characters were diverse very good mix. I just say I think my one con is that for me there wasn’t enough romance for me and that’s really kind of what let the side down.

Jingle Wars – R. Holmes & Veronica Eden

55368181. sy475
From bestselling authors R. Holmes & Veronica Eden comes an all-new steamy new adult enemies-to-lovers holiday romcom standalone.

Two inns, one town, and there’s not enough room for the both of them.

Add in a reindeer-ish donkey, a Christmas competition, and a rivalry to end all rivalries and you’re bound to end up in disaster, right?

Finn Mayberry has enough on his plate trying to keep his Grandparents inn afloat. The last thing he needed was some California state of mind starlet bulldozing into his town and throwing up a five-star resort right next to his family’s inn.

But, now she’s here and he can’t get her out of his town or his head.

Freya Anderson took one look at the snowcapped mountains of Hollyridge and fell in love. She’s finally here and ready to take on the task of proving to her father that she can handle running Alpine.

She never expected to make enemies with the sinfully delicious lumberjack of a man who runs the inn next door. He’s moody, impossible and completely off limits.

There can only be one winner, but you know what they say. All is fair in love and… Jingle Wars?

I’d like to thank Enticing Journey Book Promotions for sending me an e-arc of this book I am really grateful! So I have not read from either of these authors before although I realised just as I started to read this book that I follow Veronica Eden on TikTok which I totally did not realise until she posted a video saying that her book was coming out. I was like I have an arc of this I didn’t even realise you were the same people.

So this is the first Christmas-y story I’ve read this year and oh my god it set the mood real well. Honestly it was the perfect cute little Christmas story to start getting me in the mood. It had the right amount of romance and banter and even the plot was great and kept me hooked.

So we meet Finn who is under so much pressure to try and save the family inn, pressure he put on himself but he wants to make sure his grams and grandpa have their business that they worked so hard for. He’s really sweet and extremely hot. I really liked his character and he had so many funny moments. I loved his character.

Freya at first I was like damn this girl seems so far out of reality. Then she soon starts getting more realistic at least with her fashion choices. She is on a mission to prove to daddy that she can run his latest hotel. Although her dad is an ass, like a really big one. No redeeming qualities but thankfully Freya does she begins to realise just what Christmas is about and how it feels to fit in and I love how much she changes over the period of this novel. She doesn’t need them.

I live for the pettiness between these two characters, Finn calling her a traitor I just it made me laugh so much and I loved the sexual tension and chemistry between these two characters it was so perfect. Honestly the amount of near kisses we had was so many and I was screaming like kiss already. Let me tell you the wait was worth it. That kiss.

Also if you’ve read this book you will know what I mean when I say the Hot Springs scene, that was hot. Knock your socks off hella hot. The writing was amazing and I loved it, gave all the feels and it was so good.

I did cry at this book. I was emotional. I love Grams and Grandpa they were adorable and with their meddling when it came to getting Finn and Freya together was hilarious and I loved it.

Also on a side note I need a West and Riley story. I think I remember seeing that we are getting one.

The plot was amazing following them doing the jingle wars which is a series of competitions and the winner ones a huge chunk of prize money, Finn enters to save the inn. Freya enters to try and prove to her dad that she can run the business and she is right for the fit. Both have high stakes!

This really was the perfect little Christmas story and I can’t wait to read more from this duo.
