Livin’ on the Edge – Winter Travers

It was just supposed to be one drunken night between Zephyr and Lynn.
One. Night.

Except Zephyr and Lynn can’t seem to stay away from each other.

With the club moving in a new direction, Zephyr needs to focus on club business.
Club business, that if they aren’t careful, could get more people killed.

Can Zephyr help Lynn balance on the edge of her family drama, and also focus on his own responsibilities to the club?

Everyone knows you don’t mess with the Kings of Vengenace, but sometimes people need reminding.

I’d like to thank Winter Travers for sending me an e-arc of this book it is very much appreciated. So this is book 6 in the Kings of Vengeance it is better read in order: Drop a Gear and Disappear, Lean Into It, Knees in the Breeze, Midnight Wreckage and Thrill Seeker. As I say better read in order due to the fact that each book has a overarching plot throughout each book.

So the book starts off straight from Lynn waking up in the clubhouse from her one night stand with Zephyr. She tries to rush away straight away but unlucky for her Zephyr refuses to leave her alone. Lynn goes through a lot she tries to help everyone and stretches herself so thin that she doesn’t leave much time for herself.

Zephyr instantly sets his sights on Lynn and he wants to do everything he can to try and relieve some of the pressure that Lynn deals with and tries to make her life a bit easier and taking some of the stress.

I loved Lynn and Zephyr together, their whole relationship was so cute I loved the bond that they had together and how supportive Zephyr was. I also loved that he made her set boundaries when it came to her patients and was making her take time for herself. I just loved the connection that both of these characters had. I also loved that when there was an argument or disagreement that they spoke about it like adults rather than letting it spill into something it’s not so I loved that.

This book did a great thing of adding to the overall plot, I’m obviously not going to say what happened because spoilers. But it did a great job at adding to it.

Honourable mentions for scenes as always with this book and no spoilers.

My favourite moment: When the boys scare Core in the basement with the casket oh my god I could have died laughing it was hilarious and so great.

My 2nd favourite honourable scene is of course book club makes me laugh all the time. I love the girls. Just love it.

Let me just say that I cannot wait for Brick’s book because the ending of this book got me so hyped. Like I need to know everything about him and Detective Kaye. So I need it now. Like asap give me the next book please and thank you…

Overall really enjoyed the book and can’t wait to see what Winter Travers does next!
