This was my favourite book of the year it destroyed me I connected with so much through this book and oh my god I was a sobbing mess. There was so many quotes that just hit me close and made me relate more than ever to this book. I just even know I just get into mess about this book. Perfect.
So The Fallen Lords has always been a favourite series of mine and this year it was the end, and honestly I was so sad it was over but on the other hand this was the perfect wrap up. We got to see Cora have her happy ending and honestly Cora and Brinks were perfect for each other. There is so many moments in this book that just make it memorable for me and I love their relationship. The family aspect we see in this novel and honestly it just it’s perfect. I remember when I finished this book I was like I need to go sit in a corner and cry.
3. Kingdom of Ash – Sarah J Maas
So this year was the year I finished this series and I reread the previous ones I read and then read the ones I hadn’t and honestly this was such a good ending and just how things came together. I was blown away and felt overwhelmed a few times reading this but I absolutely loved it. I felt achieved after I finished this series.
4. Reaper’s Wrath – Jamie Begley
So I first entered Jamie’s worlds back in 2019 and I have reread them this year ready for the release of this book and it is Ginny and Gavin’s story and oh my god it blew me away and that cliffhanger blew me away and I need the next book like now and let me tell you when the next book does come out you can bet your chickens I’m rereading every book in this series again.
This book. When I finished this book I was like this is why you don’t fall in love with criminals. They break your heart and I do stand by this. I loved this book and honestly Finn worked his way into my heart as fast as anything and I loved him. Although never get attached to criminals. Honestly you should just read my review because I made myself laugh and honestly. It destroyed me this did.
So that’s my top 5 of 2020. I so thought this was going to be hard because I was like I don’t think I’ve read that many wow books but the more I looked through my goodreads the more I realised I’ve read quite a lot that could have made it to this list. But I feel like I need an honourable mention that almost made it on this book.
The Lost Book of the White – Cassandra Clare.
If you follow me on TikTok you would have seen some of my reactions to this book. I really loved being back in this world. I especially loved just having whole books on Magnus and Alec and seeing them together and there is so many memorable moments through this book. I just really enjoyed reading them and seeing them as a family and I did like seeing all the other characters that we know so well from the other series.
