So hello it is me with my June Wrap up finally! Now I’m all caught up it’s almost time to do July’s wrap up! But first onto the books I read in June. I read 22 books this month but 10 of those were rereads!
Really enjoyed the plot, there were a few sides of it, the Jensen thing that was running since Nickel (trying and probably failing to not spoil), also the subplot that is coming in about Wren. I also enjoyed not only Nikki and Pipe falling in love but their plot of the stalker Nikki manages to gain for herself.
I am really getting hooked to this series and I’m honestly not that mad about it. I really enjoy the writing and just how easy it is to get lost within these characters and this world. I love the characters, plot and story.
I love them getting drunk it’s nice to see them having some relief time from the high stress situation that we have happening in the book. There’s a few time where they have a drink and it’s honestly some of my favourite moments in the book because it just makes me smile. Especially as near the end of the book Karmen goes into labour when all the other girls are drunk.
I really enjoyed the plot in this one, it got a lot darker. I really loved the plot though and I am so glad the assholes who hurt Wren got what was coming from them. It was so satisfying the ending.
I really enjoyed the plot and also seeing a bit more of Wrecker and what he does as president. I am so interested to see where all this is going to go with the ultra. I am hooked on this series. I love the series and I love that we get to see each of the characters popping up and I cannot wait to read the next book.
I also love how much Wrecker complains about so many females being in the clubhouse and then totally gives into Alice about the girls having their own meeting place. I love the light hearted moments in this book it’s really what makes them all being together and that they all take the piss out of each other being pussy whipped.
Oh my god when they are all together it is fucking hilarious! Can’t stop laughing! I love the boys and the girls in this. The way Wren and Alice reveal their pregnant is honestly perfect the whole scene made me laugh especially because they were all laughing about Alice having to buy a new tail.
I really enjoyed the plot, characters and story. I also cannot wait for the next book! Like it has got me wanting it already! I don’t know if I love or hate the little cliffhanger for the next book but either way I need it.
There was so many amazing moments in this book that just was amazing. To start with Carnie’s mum walking in on church! Carnie hitting wrecker! That’s only some of the moments. Not only did we have the girl Gang with their banter, the MC brothers were hilarious and so much banter between them which I loved.
But also just know the moment this arc hit my kindle I read it straight away.
I live for the humour between everyone. I just like the bond they all have with each other and you can tell that they accept each other and respect each other. Alice, Carnie and Wendy are so adorable with Adley.
Within the first meeting of these two I could tell it was going to be explosive and boy did it meet my expectations which I loved. I really liked how Declan and River built their relationship and that they didn’t just jump straight into bed together. I mean that happened after some progress but I was glad it didn’t happen straight away. I really liked their chemistry and the attraction each of these characters felt for each other I really liked that. I really loved when Declan finally began to open up to River it was definitely a special moment in the book. He melts my heart especially when he organises a photo studio for her to apologise for being an asshole.
I think my one disappointment for this book is that at the end when the thing happens (me trying to not to spoil) we didn’t get to see any of Declan’s recovery and it was rather abrupt ending and I just wanted to see a bit more of his recovery.
There is one big obstacle in the way of these characters and that was Eoin. Honestly when we first meet his character I thought he was either drunk or high. Turns out he actually wasn’t and he was just plain wrapped up in the idea of love rather than being in love. This is where my annoyance for Kayleigh begins, she knows she’s attracted to Darren. She knows she doesn’t love Eoin or want to be with him yet she carries on in the relationship with him. Like it got to a point where I was thinking girl just tell him you’re making it worse. I wasn’t invested in Eoin or Kayleigh’s relationship so I wasn’t bothered about the whole Darren situation that was happening.
These two were definitely a whirlwind and I loved their relationship and the trials that it came with Duffy’s Job and Eion trying to repair himself. I loved the story and the characters and I cannot wait to see what Sienna comes out with next which I know is Michael’s story which I believe has secret baby so I’m all there for that.
I really liked their relationship and how there was no silly little break ups they spoke about things like sensible adults rather than flouncing off so I really liked that. This will be one couple I remember for a while because I loved them! The family aspect was very strong in this book and I loved seeing the side characters (who I have learnt have books of their owns so I will be getting to them).
I really though the plot was very interesting and it kept me reading I wanted to know more about what was happening and the author did a very good job of setting up an overarching plot going through all three books that linked very well.
The book ends on a cliffhanger which of course will make you want to continue onto the next book which of course I did.
So good! Also these cliffhangers! Onto the next one. I liked this book a lot better than the first one and it made me really love the characters even more. I especially had a different appreciation for Alaric and Angie in this book and actually liked them a little better than their own book.
I really liked the relationship between Hunt and Peyton and I love that Angie was also at the clubhouse to make Peyton feel a little more settled although she is an MC princess her mother tried to keep her away as much as possible as she knew the MC life could be cruel to girls. So I really liked that we had Angie to help her.
This was definitely my favourite out of the series and I loved Harper being able to begin to mend after what she suffered and I loved it. Again I’m trying to limit what I say because don’t want to spoil but overall I loved this book and it actually made the series a hundred times better which is good. I’m glad I continued with this series for one.
I really loved these characters and being back into the world not only for the romance but for the friendships and I can’t wait to read the next book (which I will be straight after this). Alley Ciz really knows how to draw you into the story and just want to stay in that world.
I really liked Vince and Holly and they were so cute and sweet and I loved them so much. I loved the characters, the plot and the story and I can’t wait to see what Alley Ciz comes up with next.
