So I started this by reading Razer’s Ride, Viper’s Run and Knox’s stand and Sex Piston, Teased, Tainted, Shade’s Fall, King, Cash’s Fight, Fat Louise, Riot, Shade, Stand Off, Lucky’s Choice, Keeping What’s His and now Merry Blissmas. I would highly reccommend reading it in the order I have just put above because the series is so much better that way!
There will be spoilers.
So I was very torn on Bliss’ story because in some of the books she was really nice and then in the others she was a complete and utter asshole and there was just no inbetween with her. So I was really torn with her but I feel like reading this book you understand a lot more about Bliss. My only complaint is that I wish that some of Bliss’ story could have been released through the other books and included in them especially when she could relate to some of the other characters. I feel like Bliss could have come across a lot better in the other books to having her keep it all to herself until this book. I feel like the author really missed a beat here.
It really surprised me how hard Bliss was on herself and that she had such a bad view of herself but then it made so much sense when we discover that she was raped and held captive by the Devil’s Rejects and it’s like no wonder she’s so fucked up. Then we also discover that she was only hurting The Last Riders because she was hurting and honestly it all broke my heart that she was pushing them away.
Drake so we know from the other books our boy here had a crush on Bliss and in fact ask Shade about her. I loved Drake he didn’t mind claiming his Porter blood even though many people would shy away from it he doesn’t. I loved that he didn’t want to fuck Bliss but he wanted her to fall in love with him first. He’s so cute and I love him.
I love Evie and that’s she trying to make Bliss feel better and still be friends with her regardless of her not being in The Last Riders she’s still willing to stay friends with her. I also find it amusing that Evie finds it funny that Bliss thinks she can fool Drake into thinking she can cook by ordering takeout from Kings.
I love Ginny trying time be there for Bliss. Ginny is lovely and I honestly can’t wait for her story because she’s such a good addition to the rest of the characters and I really like her.
The sex between Bliss and Drake is hot. I also loved that Drake’s second plan was to get Bliss to fall in love with his dick. It made me giggle when Bliss thought she couldn’t take Drake’s dick despite having been with all The Last Riders if that isn’t an ego boost I don’t know what is.
The more you find out about Bliss the more you understand some of her actions. Like don’t get me wrong it don’t excuse her being a full blown dickhead but it also explains a lot.
I love how much Bliss cares for Darcy whilst working at the nursery and you can see them build their connection and it’s so cute and I love how distraught Bliss is when she realises Darcy was going to a new foster home but no where near Treepoint.
Killyama fucking kills me. Telling Sex Piston to fix her hair because she isn’t fucking Train anymore, I also love that Bliss gives Killyama advice about what Train likes and what gets him horny.
Oh my god the Porters and Drake protecting Bliss and damn what Drake did to whatever the heck his name was very creative. I love that even though The Last Riders had voted her out they were still protecting her and if not for the Porters they would have saved Bliss and oh my god it melts my heart they didn’t really let her go although they kicked her out they didn’t let her go.
I love Bliss getting her family back, and Drake being able to give it her. It amused me to no end that Drake wanted to skip all the other shit and just begin the initating which is fighting 4 of the members. I love he then used all his markers to allow them to have Bliss back into the club. Honestly Drake gave her the perfect Christmas having her family back but then Cal went and topped that by giving them Darcy once he managed to take custody of her when she turned 18. It melted my heart so much.
So as much as I did have reservations I really did like reading Bliss’ story!
