So I received this as an audiobook from the Audiobook Obsession Audiobook tours and it is very much appreciated. So I wanted to start getting into audiobooks because I was doing more hours at work and it would just be hard to pick up a book. I am not usually a fan of audiobooks but this books got me hooked. That hooked that I want to listen to the rest of this series when it finally comes out.
So throughout this book I had very much feelings sometimes it was good and then sometimes I didn’t like it. Although it ended with me absolutely loving this book and series and I need to read the next one. I need to know what happens next.
So I thought it was very cliche to start off with a nightmare, but you know I ended up loving it anyway.
Anastasia sounds like a bit of a brat but that soon changes as she gets to Terrania and she has a complete personality change and she just as a whole person changes so much and I love it. I love how much of a complex character she is.
So the romance between Dakota and Anastasia I just don’t see it. It all happened so fast even as best friends. It just felt like there was no connection there as lovers. Although my opinion about their romance totally changed as we neared the end of the book I could really see their connection when they saw each other again.
Also fake parents were a veery interesting concept, I also didn’t expect her to be Gregory and Annabelle’s child and it honestly broke my heart that she didn’t get to know before Annabelle died.
I’m interested to see what is happening in Terrania and the brutes, the author did a very good job of leaving the reader hanging in the sense. She only let the reader know the information as it needed to be known. I really loved that and she did a great job.
Maximum you are a tosser.
I love Kayleigh. She was a very interesting animal, I love when the main characters have animals. I just love it. I love tony he’s such a dad and it’s so cute I also love how protective he is when it comes to Anastasia.
I am really liking the five year time jump. It’s interesting to see how Anastasia has grown and is still in Terrania and the time jump was definetely needed for the story to work.
I love Gregory’s letter. It’s so sweet. I am gutted about how Gregory’s life ended it was a brutal death.
Also the cliffhanger how annoyingly frustrating but also can’t wait for the next book. I think I will be waiting for it to be released on audiobook, I really enjoyed the narrator and she definitely nailed the characters’ personalities very well, also how she told the story was amazing. I think she converted me into an audiobook user more than ever.
The story kept me hooked I really loved the plot and the characters.
