Inciting A Riot – Karen Renee

40281835
Cary “Vamp” Sullivan earned his Riot MC patch and shoved Lorraine Francis Ingram out of his life six years ago by cheating on her. He’s regretted it ever since because he knew she was a top-notch woman. After mentioning his regrets to his brother, Cal, Vamp suddenly finds himself faced with an opportunity to win Lorraine back. When he runs into her unexpectedly and finds out she has been beaten at the hands of a man, Vamp and his Riot MC Brothers are determined to protect her. Vamp is determined to get her back in his life, and he knows it’s going to be an uphill battle.
Lorraine insists that if any Riot MC Brother is going to protect her, it cannot be Vamp. She gets no promises from the Riot MC, and she finds herself with Vamp at her doorstep. She’s determined there will be no second chances, but her resolve is weakened because Vamp isn’t playing fair, he’s fighting…fighting to win her over.
Once she and Vamp are reunited again, they realize there is a very real threat to them both. Lorraine and Vamp are put to the test to rekindle their long lost love and stay alive.

So I read the first book Unforeseen Riot and I really enjoyed that book so I of course I got hooked and started reading the next book which is Vamp’s book and I was very excited for this one because I fell in love with Vamp when he was in the first book.

Vamp was a great character in the first book he a little epiphany about no longer sleeping with random women he wanted the woman he loved who left him. I really liked how stubborn and kind of bossy he was especially as Lorraine defied him almost at every turn. He was a loyal man and especially loyal to his family, Lorraine and his MC.

Lorraine although sometimes referred to as Frankie or Lainey she has quite a few nicknames through this book by various different people. Lorraine goes on a journey from the moment she starts this book especially as the Mark situation escalated. I really liked her character and that she defied Vamp at every possible chance but also she was willing to give him a second chance.

I really liked seeing all the other characters from the other books, I especially loved Mallory and Lorraine talking, especially because we have two different sides. Mallory who knows nothing about the MC and then Lorraine who knows a lot about the motorcycle world because she was there during Vamp’s prospect years. I liked that we got the differentiate between both of these women.

I loved seeing Mallory, Jackie, Natasha, Volt and Cal all over again. It was so nice having them appear again in the novel.

I also loved the connection between Volt and Lorraine although as she calls him Henry, it was so weird seeing his actual name other than his road name. But I loved the connection there and he was very protective over her and supportive of her and Vamp. I also thought it was amusing that he gave a little leeway to telling Lorraine stuff that happened in church only because it involved her, but it was amusing to see how far she would push.

I love how “kiss into submission” has passed into this novel and that Vamp was using it on Lorraine one of my favourite things.

Roxanne I loved her, she was very supportive of Lorraine when it came to her job and she was a very good boss and I loved that.

We saw another appearance from Razor and I loved him, but I also felt so sorry for him especially as he was dumped by his club but I love that he’s also a prospect at Riot MC.

I really liked the plot of this novel, it was very interesting. The whole Mark situation was crazy it went from her breaking it off to him beating her and then it just went crazy from there. I don’t want to go too far into the plot. But this book sent me into a twist and spin and I loved it.

I am also hoping that there will be a Trixie novel coming soon because I am interested in her story and Roll’s too unless it’s going to be unfolding through the other books. Either way I’m invested.

I really loved the whole family aspect in this, I love how the MC are so close and willing to do anything for each other.
