Knox’s Stand – Jamie Begley

Knox, a former Navy Seal, has been in several dangerous situations, but nothing compares to dealing with Diamond Richards. Framed for murder, he needs the passionless lawyer to prove his innocence. But when he no longer needs her help, he’s going to show her the passion she’s capable of and walk away a free man.

Diamond plans on earning her huge fee to prove Knox is innocent, but she had no idea the muscled biker could bring out the passion she kept hidden behind her designer clothes. Trying to find a murderer is easier than dealing with The Last Riders and Knox’s sexcapades. He’s going to find out there is one woman worth standing and fighting for, despite his desire for freedom.

This work of fiction is intended for mature audiences only. All sexually active characters portrayed in this ebook are eighteen years of age or older. Please do not buy if strong sexual situations, multiple partners, moderate violence and explicit language offends you.

So as you know I went down a deep hole of reading this series and falling in love with this series. So this will have spoilers in for the other books and probably contain mild spoilers. Razer’s Ride and Viper’s Run was amazing and I loved them and this one was no exception.

So I have been interested in Knox ever since the little threesome scene in Viper’s story where we get described about Knox’s piercings. I think he is the only one of the Last Riders who have a pierced cock and the boy knows how to use it. We start this story with a bang, he is literally banging Sam which he calls the worst mistake of his life after he is accused of murdering here which leads him into Diamond’s path. Knox is an asshole, there is no denying that he’s an asshole and he likes to fuck women and also likes to antagonise people. But he also has his sweet moments (sort of).

We met Diamond in Viper’s book when she saves Winter’s job and we then see her take Knox’s case on. Diamond at first seems uptight and too good for bikers although we soon learn she was raised in that lifestyle and knows it all too well. Her father was the president of the club and her sister Sex Piston is still involved in the club. Soon Diamond begins to let go and once she does she becomes great although I did feel towards the end she sort of lost her fight especially when it came to Knox (I’ll go into detail in a later paragraph).

Something I thought was hilarious was as the beginning where Diamond tries to run away from Viper and representing Knox at first.

So all the way through this book it seemed like all Diamond and Knox wanted to do was piss each other off. They managed to touch each other’s buttons to get them annoyed and even when they began getting intimate they still found ways to piss each other off. Also was kind of hilarious. I loved their relationship though, there is one scene that comes to mind for me and that’s when Diamond is teasing Knox for crashing his bike and the reason being he didn’t want to hit a squirrel and she calls him a marshmallow and it still makes me chuckle thinking about the scene. Also Rider sitting in this conversation winding Knox up was hilarious too.

Aww my babies Shade and Lily appears in this book and I just love the fact the moment Diamond sees them she knows that Shade has a thing for Lily. I love these two and I can’t wait to reread their book again. Also we learn that Shade’s dad is the sheriff!

Winter and Viper’s wedding was so beautiful and I love seeing my babies happy.

So the parties begin at Diamond’s first party we have Diamond and Knox playing whilst Rider and Jewell are fucking and damn it was hot. Jamie Begley writes the party scenes and the sex and the sharing scenes really well and captures the atmosphere and feelings. Also another scene that was extremely hot was the hot tub scene of Knox, Rider and Diamond. It was so hot that when Knox and Diamond were fucking that she was sucking Rider off.

We find out early on that Diamond and her dad have a strained relationship due to the fact that she found him fucking one of the club bitches when she was a child and it changed everything. I loved that this was dealt with at the end when Diamond is realising she loves Knox and can’t live without him she goes home and ends up reconciling with her father and they talk it all through and I loved that it was such a sweet scene.

The whirlwind that is Sex Piston this girl we met in book 1 when she became friends with Beth. We see that Sex Piston and Diamond have a love hate relationship they will call each other names but when it came down to it. Sex Piston was there for Diamond and I loved their relationship. It was a proper sister relationship that was for sure. Sex Piston even fights for her sister when Diamond goes to the clubhouse for Knox Sex Piston takes her with the biker bitches. They start a fight which was hilarious thinking Knox was with two of the girls from the clubhouse only to discover Knox had switched rooms and it wasn’t Knox which was hilarious.

We learn from Pastor Dean (I.E Lucky) that Knox was married before and that after his wedding his wife died 2 days later. He then says that when he was with Diamond it was the happiest he had seen him in a while. We have a scene near the end of the book where Knox goes to visit his wife’s grave and apologises for falling for Diamond and that he tried to stop it but he couldn’t and that although he still loved her he was going to give Diamond all of his heart. I loved that scene it was so beautiful and made my heart melt.

Knox’s proposal was so adorable! Taking her to a house and telling her that he was going to be exclusive and loyal and everything that she needed whilst wearing a deputies uniform. It was so cute and I loved it. Also that he brought her an island to protect her from zombies. I just love this couple so much!
