Viper’s Run – Jamie Begley

Winter Simmons received the surprise of her life when she discovered the man she had been dating for the last two years was actually Viper, president of the Last Riders. A high school principal, Winter has no intention of ruining her reputation in the community to be with a man who betrayed her trust. Unforgiving, she turns her back on him, only to find that Viper is not the gentleman he portrayed.

Determined to find his brother’s killer, Loker James kept his identity as President of The Last Riders a secret from Winter. When the truth comes out, he is determined to make her see the real man who can control not only a group of dangerous bikers, but a woman whose life is a rulebook. Unable to prevent herself from being drawn into the very club she despises, Winter is about to lose everything important to her, unless Viper can prove she’s more than a moonlight run.

This work of fiction is intended for mature audiences only. All sexually active characters portrayed in this ebook are eighteen years of age or older. Please do not buy if strong sexual situations, multiple partners, and explicit language offends you.

So I went down a huge hole down reading this series and it started with the first book Razer’s Ride and I loved it! So as I said in the first book that I’ve read this twice now because you know I binged read this series. Also this review will contain spoilers for books in the series and probably this book itself.

I loved Winter she was so strong and sassy. I felt so bad for her when she got attacked and she began to worry that she wasn’t attractive anymore and especially to Viper. I just wanted to give her a big hug and squeeze her tight. I loved that as she begin to recover her attitude came back and she began to get her strength back and with that came some of the fight she had. I loved that.

Viper my baby Viper. I love him. I loved him in the first book and this book was no different. My alpha male dickhead president. I love him. I love the fact although Winter didn’t want his help he still gave it with turning the whole downstairs of the clubhouse into a rehabilitation for Winter. I felt bad for him because he felt guilt for some things that were no need for at times. I love how much he cares for the club and getting answers when it comes to Gavin.

Watching Winter watch Beth and Razor arguing at the beginning was kind of hilarious. Also her reaction to discovering Loker was Viper was also quite amusing. I love that Winter gave him hell for not telling her the truth.

I also love Winter’s reaction to the Friday night parties. Like no matter how much Beth tried to warn her she still didn’t accept the warning and thought she was going to be just fine. What I did find more amusing is the fact that Beth understood Razer’s struggle about telling her about the party. It makes me laugh.

I loved seeing the church party, seeing Shade going crazy over Lily and Charles and the fact it took so many of the men to try and hold her back and that Winter clocked onto it straight away.

Winter being attacked was horrible. But you know the women was so strong to be able to stay alive when she was left throughout the night. Also I love that even though she knew she needed to be there it didn’t stop her from trying to fight against being there.

So one of Winter and Viper’s first argument I love the fact he says that instead of lashing out at other people and saying stuff that could hurt Beth or any of the other girls and saying shit in front of the whole club to instead throw things at him. I like that he allowed her to be angry at him when needed be and when she was angry at the world.

Okay so one of the first parties and obviously the first time they have sexual contact. It’s at the party and damn this scene was hot. So it starts with Viper teasing Winter and then begins to fingering her and as that is happening Train and Cash are with 2 of the other girls at the same time and there’s a lot of watching going off. And it was extremely hot.

I also think it’s quite funny that Winter went through the same guilt over the parties that Beth did and they both went to Pastor Dean (still weird knowing it’s Lucky). I love that he makes them feel better about what they did by telling them it’s okay.

We have the first mention of Lucky in this book when Winter is guessing what all of Viper’s tattoos mean.

Viper telling Winter she is his was so cute. I love my babies so much as a couple. I love that Winter convinced Viper to have Gavin’s bike and bring the bike back into club although he wasn’t. The scene was heartbreaking but I loved it.

I loved Viper proposing to Winter and using the punishment bag to do it, so cute and romantic and honestly just so in love with them.

I love this series and the story and I just love everything!
